Without words and further ado: pictures!
It’s such an amazingly beautiful morning that I took a detour on my way home from bringing the boys to daycare. I soon regretted not having the camera on me but the pictures are not so bad, considering they’ve been made by mobile! See for yourself.
Wow. Long time no see!
It’s crazy how time goes by – not slowly as in the song but fast, so fast in fact, I feel like I live in fast-forward these days and months.
A lot happened! We celebrated Yule and Christmas, we went house-searching (without results) and renovated our kitchen (with amazing results). There’s a big blog post coming up with tons of pictures and I promise, you’ll be amazed! 😉 And with that: yes, I really intend to be back.

But for now let me tell you about last Tuesday. A friend and I went to an art course, called “free painting”. The quintessence was to “Just do”. There was a real buffet of paint and lots and lots of different brushes, dough scrapers, dishwashing brushes, scrapers and other things with which you could work. No guidelines, input only when you asked for it and no limits. 90 minutes of just painting and trying and letting go.
There’s so much time in a day, Julie.
You could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on 3 different continents.
You could outline the book you’re going to write, start the screenplay adaptation, and watch “Gone With The Wind,” before the sun even sets.
Spend a day at work, and still have 16 hours left over.
Or you could just think 60,000 different thoughts as you tool all over .
Hey, the record for climbing Mt. Everest is under 9 hours, leaving 15 to nap and go Yeti searching. There’s so much time in a day, Julie. So much.
Oh Time, where art thou? I feel bad about not blogging but somehow time just keeps running away from me. So many things have been happening – a baby shower for a friend, out summer celebration: a wonderful weekend full of love and awesomeness, the twin’s first birthday, cleaning, sport and thinking and planning. Bear with me and I’ll tell you all about it in the next few days. For today, let me show you what we were up to this last weekend.
